Emmanuelle BICHON
Emmanuelle Bichon was born on 27 February 1976. She graduated from Nantes University of Sciences as an Engineer in Analytical Chemistry and She graduated from Oniris as a PhD in Public Health. She joined the LABERCA in 1998. Within the laboratory, she had the opportunity to work on several projects pertaining to the study of pesticides transfer in the Environment and the Food Chain, she has been studying natural steroids, and growth promoters agents before to focus on emerging chemical hazards from the external to the internal Human exposure. From 2003 to 2005, she was responsible for the Growth Promoters Unit within the LABERCA, managing a team of 7 persons. In January 2006, she was appointed Technical Support and Innovation Engineer, and took the head of this team in 2009. She works closely with her colleagues involved in research projects and assists them with the setting-up of the methods and techniques needed to meet their specific needs. She also deals with the specific demands from outside organisations related to the Laboratorys’ Expertise in the field of Mass Spectrometry. Emmanuelle is a member of the LABERCA’s executive team. Since 2018, she is also the president of one of the regional sections of the French society of separative sciences and involves as expert in the national standardization agency AFNOR (V03B).
